Le Meridien Reveals Guests Prefer Coffee Over Sex

Le Meridien Hotels & Resorts launch a new Master Barista Program and conduct a survey with surprising results.

Almasalla Travel News – In what we would consider a shocking discovery, Le Meridien Hotels & Resorts recently proved that guests prefer coffee over sex for their morning buzz. What does this say about the human race? Or, rather, what does this say about Le Meridien’s guests?

Le Meridien Hotels & Resorts conducted a global survey about coffee, sex and travel habits. The survey unveiled last week found that coffee surpasses sex as the ideal wake-up call, according to more than half (53%) of the respondents.

The survey coincides with the launch of Le Meridien’s new Master Barista Program, which will lead coffee-related initiatives and standards at each hotel as well as serve as coffee cultural ambassadors. Also, timing couldn’t be more perfect, considering that yesterday was International Coffee Day.

As for the study, it established that coffee drinkers are addicted to their morning ritual: 54% of respondents make their morning brew right at home and an ungodly 78% would rather give up alcohol, social media or sex with a spouse for a year rather than forfeit coffee. It looks like a bean buzz is the ultimate high!
