CNN Vice President meet with Seychelles Tourism Minister during annual CNN WTM Dinner in London

Almasalla, ATP News- Antonio Canto, the CNN Vice President met with Alain St.Ange, the Seychelles Minister responsible for Tourism and Culture and Anita Mendiratta, the head of CNN TASK.

Minister St.Ange accompanied by Sherin Naiken, the CEO of the Seychelles Tourism Board and Bernadette Willemin, the Seychelles Tourism Board’s Director for Europe were guests at the annual CNN WTM Dinner at the NOBU Restaurant at Berkeley Street in London. This annual CNN dinner is the opportunity for Ministers of Tourism and Senior Tourism Professionals to meet and connect prior to the opening of WTM (World Travel Market) on the Monday morning.

"Both Sherin Naiken and myself went to the dinner in Berkeley Street straight from Heathrow Airport after arriving in London from our flight from the Seychelles. We appreciate the importance of the dinner and made it a point to be present" Minister St.Ange said to Juergen Steinmetz, the Head of eTN News at the dinner at Berkeley Street.
 

Minister St.Ange who was seated with Mr Antonio Canto, the Vice President of CNN used the opportunity to discuss CNN participation at the UNWTO and ICAO Ministerial Meeting that is set to take place in Seychelles on the 24th April 2015. "We know the strength of CNN and their travel programme and it was important to float the idea of not only coverage of the event, but to also see CNN participate at this historic meeting of Tourism and of Transport Ministers" said St.Ange.

Antonio Canto in discussions with the Seychelles Minister and Anita Mendiratta confirmed his interest to be personally present at this UNWTO & ICAO Minister’s meeting and is willing to discuss further the CNN involvement.

Mr Taleb Rifai, the Secretary General of the UNWTO was also one of the special guests at this important CNN WTM Dinner.
