Malaysia Airlines and Abstrax Jingga Launches Its #FLYINGHIGH Tshirt
Almasalla,Gate Arab Tourism News- Shah Alam,- Malaysia Airlines announced its collaboration with local street- wear clothing brand Abstrax Jingga at the “#FLYINGHIGH” T-shirt launch in conjunction with the national carrier s 42nd anniversary today.
The collaboration is the second part of the two series #STAYSTRONG #FLYINGHIGH social
media campaign which garnered a lot of buzz among netizens around the world.
The campaign started with its first post on Facebook, Instagram and Twitter, #STAYSTRONG
imprinted on images of its cabin crew and tech crew with accompanying tagline “Tough times do not last, tough people do”. The airline received outpouring messages of support from the public worldwide.
Following the success of the first post, the second series of the campaign, #FLYINGHIGH
saw the release of a short film (featuring songstress, Yuna’s brand new single LANGIT) in
conjunction with Merdeka in hopes of reaching out to more guests and potential customers with an inspiring message.
The film, “Terbang” represents the spirit and values of fellow Malaysians who dream of flying high to carry the name of their country with pride and passion.
Launching the #FLYINGHIGH T-shirt at Abstrax’s authorized concept store was Malaysia
Airlines’ Senior Vice President of Strategic Communications Dato’ Najmuddin Abdullah and
Abstrax Jingga co-founder Dr. Faiz Izwan Anuar.
Speaking at the event, Dato’ Najmuddin said, “The #STAYSTRONG series is about overcoming
obstacles. Despite the challenges one is facing, there is always going to be a light at the end
of the tunnel. Setbacks are a vital part of experiencing the sweetness of life and challenges are
opportunities for you to grow—and that is what #FLYINGHIGH is all about.”
“We are humbled by the support we’ve received worldwide and we would like to thank everyone of you that have stood by us throughout these trying times. We have come a long way since 1972 in delivering ‘Malaysian Hospitality’ across our network and have flown millions of Malaysians home and abroad. With this collaboration, we hope to have the support of more
fellow Malaysians to keep the Malaysian flag flying high,” he added.
Abstrax Jingga co-founder, Dr. Faiz I. Anuar said, ““We are honored to collaborate again
with Malaysia Airlines to produce #FLYINGHIGH shirt. The latest #FLYINGHIGH shirt is a
continuation of the success of the first version shirt, which was sold out in a short period of time. So far, we’ve been overwhelmed by the support.”
“The first pre-order session attracted about 1500 orders and we anticipate that more orders to
come in. Ultimately, we hope that the #FLYINGHIGH shirt bonds Malaysians, whom are proud
to wear them”, he added.
The event ended with a tour of the shop and Abstrax Jingga giving away personalized #FLYINGHIGH T-shirts to the attendees.
