A complete educational training programme was conducted to ensure that the attending agents have an in-depth knowledge of what the Seychelles as a tourism destination offers as well as how best to sell the Seychelles to their clients.

Additionally, Emirates Holidays presented the Special Offers to the trade for different properties like Four Seasons Resort, Banyan tree Resort, Constance Ephelia Resort, Hilton Labriz Resort & Spa, Kempinski Seychelles Resort, Coral Strand, Double Tree Allamanda and Berjaya Beau Vallon Resort based on 4 nights accommodation with breakfast, airport transfers and economy class airfare.

“Among the GCC markets, Bahrain has ranked Number 4 from January to May 2014 which registered an 84% increase in arrivals compared to the same period in January to May 2013. We will organize more activities in Bahrain to further increase the demand" said Ahmed Fathallah, Regional Manager, Seychelles Tourism Office, Middle East Dubai Office.

Last week the Tourism Board’s 2014 edition of their annual mid-year marketing review spelled out that the Middle East and the whole GCC Countries needed to see additional concentration in the field of marketing to entice more traffic from that part of the world from where the Seychelles is served by more daily non-stop direct flights than from anywhere else in the world.
