Ruler of Sharjah inaugurates exhibition showcasing collections from Vatican Ethnographic Museum
Almasalla Arab Travel Portal News – WAM- SHARJAH-Dr. Sheikh Sultan bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah, has inaugurated at the Sharjah Islamic Civilisation Museum, an exhibition featuring the Arab world and China collections from the Vatican Ethnographic Museum.
The event is held to coincide with the Emirate of Sharjah celebrations as the Capital of Islamic Culture 2014. The exhibition will be open for visitors till 14th June.
Touring the exhibition, Sheikh Sultan inspected over 70 antiquities, including cut clothing, musical instruments, costume and war tools, books and manuscripts.
He was accompanied by Sheikh Khalid bin Sultan bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, Chairman of the Sharjah Urban Planning Council.
