The Minister of Hajj meets the delegation of the Brunei Office of Hajj Affairs
Almasalla Arab Travel Portal News – Minister of Hajj, Dr. Bandar ibn Muhammad Hajjar, met the Brunei Darussalam Hajj delegation, headed by Hajj Muhammad Faghiran Al-Hajj Abdul Rahman, the Brunei Minister of the Religious Affairs, at his office in Jeddah Sunday.
At the beginning of the meeting with the Brunei Hajj delegation, the Minister of Hajj reviewed the remarkable success of the Hajj season of 1434 A.H., which was achieved thanks to Allah, then to the unlimited support of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques and Crown Prince. They provided all the capabilities and human resources necessary for the expansion of the Two Holy Mosques and the Tawaf area, and the establishment of Al-Masha`er Metro and the Two Holy Mosques Train for the sake of ensuring safety and comfort for the pilgrims and Mu`tamirs and enabling them to perform their rituals easily.
Hajjar explained that the Kingdom’s call to reduce the ratio of the international pilgrims by 20% and the domestic pilgrims by 50% would be applicable during this year’s Hajj season (1435 A.H) along the lines of the previous season, due to the projects implemented in Makkah Al-Mukarramah and at the Sacred Sites.
This meeting tackled the necessity of giving attention to the programs developed by the Ministry of Hajj, including increasing the pilgrims’ awareness before their arrival at the holy lands, and abiding by the programs of grouping the pilgrims to be dispatched to the Jamarat Bridge. The meeting also tackled the services provided for the pilgrims by the Tawafa Establishments.
The Brunei Minister of the Religious Affairs highly appreciated the projects and achievements implemented by the government of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques and The Crown Prince at the Sacred Sites and in Makkah Al-Mukarramah and Al-Madinah Al-Munawwarah.
These achievements enabled the pilgrims to perform their rituals in spirituality and tranquility. Also highly appreciated the integral and coordinating role performed by the Ministry of Hajj and the representatives the offices of Hajj Affairs in dealing with all services delivered to the guests of the Merciful by different sectors and bodies working in the field of Hajj.
