STARWOOD HOTELS TO DEBUT WESTIN HOTELS IN QATAR WITH THE NEW WESTIN DOHA & SPA
Set to Open late 2014, The Westin Doha Hotel & Spa will be Located in the City’s Central Business District
Almasalla Arab Travel Portal News – Starwood Hotels Worldwide, Inc. today announced that it will soon introduce its Westin Hotels & Resorts brand to Qatar. Owned by Ghanem Al Thani Holdings, The Westin Doha Hotel & Spa is scheduled to open in late 2014 and will enjoy a prime location in the city’s central business district, comprising a total landscaped area of 49,000 square meters. Just 15 minutes from Doha International Airport, The Westin Doha Hotel & Spa will be in close proximity to the Museum of Islamic Art, Education City and the Al Mushreib rejuvenation project in Doha’s downtown area.

The 365 beautifully appointed guest rooms, will include 92 executive rooms, five private bungalows and two presidential suites, all featuring the renowned Westin Heavenly Bed® as well as the latest in modern in-room technology. The Heavenly Bath® will create an invigorating spa-like experience, enhanced with the brand’s Heavenly® Shower, Heavenly® Robe and exclusive White Tea Aloe bath amenities. The Westin Doha Hotel & Spa will also offer five dining venues, including an all-day dining restaurant, a grill and Thai restaurant as well as a jazz cocktail and sports bar.
The Westin Doha Hotel & Spa will also feature nearly 2,900 square meters of ultra-modern event space, including a ballroom and 10 meeting rooms and a fully-equipped business center, making it the perfect destination for large-scale meetings and festive occasions. Guests will be able to find total relaxation at The Heavenly Spa by Westin™, which will offer ten treatment rooms and an array of treatments dedicated to well-being, take a rejuvenating swim in one of the three pools or exercise at WestinWORKOUT® where state-of-the-art equipment for optimum cardio and weight training. Other signature Westin amenities will include the SuperFoodsRX™ menu designed to treat guests to exceptional food combinations rich in nutrients, antioxidants and flavor.
