Almasalla Arab Travel Portal News – His Royal Highness Prince Sultan bin Salman bin Abdul Aziz, President of SCTA, together with His Royal Highness Prince Mesh al bin Abdullah bin Abdul Aziz, Governor of Makkah and Chairman of Makkah Tourism Development Council, on Thursday, 16th January, inaugurated the logo of Jeddah Historic Area, which was designed by SCTA during the opening ceremony of Jeddah Historic Area Festival.
Director of SCTA Makkah Branch, Mohammad Al Amri, in his speech in the opening ceremony of the festival, said, “Jeddah Historic Area logo, which was created by SCTA and approved by HRH President of SCTA and HRH Prince Mesh’al, is a tourist logo for Jeddah Historic Area and it will be used in its related print material.”
The logo idea is derived from Jeddah’s historic importance as the major gateway of the Two Holy Mosques as well as a destination of millions of people who arrive annually onboard across the Red Sea in the past to perform Haj and Umrah and visit the Prophet Mohammad city of Al Madina. Jeddah Gate is appearing in the center of the logo surrounded by Makkah and Prophet Mosques domes, while the Red Sea is shown at the bottom of the logo where Jeddah was welcoming the visitors of God thousands of years ago.
Noteworthy, SCTA had designed tens of logos and tourism mottos such as "Riyadh.. meeting point of Homeland", "Asir.. life in colors", "Al Baha… nature’s magic", "Al Qaseem.. depth of experience", "Hail.. authenticity of hospitality", and "Najran.. history and culture".
The logos are designed by a technical and specialized team at SCTA after studying many ideas, works and major designs which are mostly based on the professional and marketing drives.
