aTP- Arab tourism portal- BANGALORE: Indian Nationals like other nationalities do not require visa to travel to the Indian Ocean Islands of Seychelles, said Alain St.Ange, the Seychelles Minister responsible for Tourism and Culture.
He said that this means that holiday planning can still be made at the spur of the moment, assuring that there is ample of hotel accommodation available that suits every budget.
The minister noted that Seychelles continues to be the favourite and popular destination for global travelers, adding that people had a wrong notion that this paradise on earth is expensive.
In fact, Seychelles is the most affordable destination compared to any other islands in the world, in terms of shopping, accommodation, food etc.
One needs to visit the Indian Ocean archipelago to experience its hospitality, disclosed St. Ange.
At the same time, Sherin Naiken, the CEO of the Seychelles Tourism Board while speaking in Bangalore, said that Seychelles plans to work closely with the travel trade of India in order for the exotic islands to claim its fair share of their outbound tourism market.
“We are in India, and more precisely in Bangalore today to invite you all to be our partners on the ground here and to work with us to offer your clients and the Indian holiday makers a new holiday destination” said Ms. Sherin during the weeklong Roadshow in India.
