CNN declares itself of the Top 100 beaches – Seychelles
Almasalla Travel News – Seychelles, the mid-ocean islands in the Indian Ocean has taken the number one position as CNN rated the top 100 beaches of the world.
This came as no surprise as these tourism dependant islands, known as the world’s most romantic destination, providing unrivalled swimming and an all year round climate with a perpetual summer.
The accolade comes as a testament to Seychelles’ star appeal for honeymoons and celebrities in search of peace, tranquility and breathtaking seascapes. The endless coves with immaculate, powder white sandy beaches, lapped with dazzling turquoise blue waters are the ideal picture perfect postcard shots prized the world over. These secluded secret hideaways have attracted numerous beach aficionados such as British Prince William and the Duchess of Cambridge Kate Middleton among many other celebrities.
Speaking to the press as he was addressing the opening of the International Tourism Fair Madagascar, the Seychelles Minister for Tourism & Culture Mr. Alain St.Ange said, “Seychelles markets itself as ‘Another World’. Our beaches are different because of the diversity of our islands that make up the Seychelles archipelago.
