aTP- Arab tourism portal- Licensed accommodation facilities and tour operators, in coordination with SCTH branches across the Kingdom will provide various attractive tourism offers during the upcoming second-term school break.
Tourism offers include reservation for hotels and furnished apartments, and organizing tours to a number of tourism destinations in the Kingdom.
The offers are distinguished with soft prices for tourists during the second-term school break, which will see the holding of 25 tourism festivals and events featuring various social, cultural, heritage, sport and entertainment aspects, in throughout different parts of the Kingdom. These will be professionally organized by the Tourism Development Councils in collaboration with SCTH and relevant authorities.
Most of the tourism offers are concentrated in the Riyadh province. About 24 offers in the capital and some of its municipalities.
Al Qassim province will provide 12 offers in Buraidah and Onaiza, while Jazan province will provide 4 tourism offers and Tabuk to provide 6 offers in Tabuk and Hagl.
The Eastern Province will present 39 attractive tourism offers in Al Ahsa, Al Dammam, Al Khobar, and other cities that host the events. Najran province will present 5 offers while Al Baha 3 offers.
Hail province will provide 27 various tourism offers in a number of cities and municipalities while Al Jouf will present 12 tourism offers.
Al Madina province will provide 12 tourism offers in Yanbu and Al Ula. Tabuk province will present 2 offers and Asir province will present 7 offers.
Makkah province is presenting 76 tourism offers in cities in which the events are held. These include, Jeddah, Al Taif and Makkah. The Northern Borders will present 8 tourism offers.
SCTH undertakes support and sponsorship of the tourism offers in addition to providing media and marketing support to the festivals and events through offering detailed information on them to the citizens and expatriates via the Tourism Contact Center on the Toll Free number (19988), or through Event E-calendar, and the websites; www.saudievents.sa.
Also Saudi Tourism website www.sauditourism.sa, in addition to Suaditourism apps on smartphone provide the tourists and internet browsers with detailed information on the most important events and occasions that are taking place in the Kingdom, allowing the tourists to select their tourism destination, and plan for their tourism trips. Besides the website will include a comprehensive directory for tourism services that are needed by the tourists such as hotels, furnished apartments, youth houses, museums, parks and malls.
SCTH also provides media support to tourism destinations, festivals and events through press releases and other materials on the mass media. A large number of brochures and print material were published including leaflets and booklets providing detailed information on these events offered at the Tourism Information Centers in the airports and large shopping malls.
