aTP- Arab tourism portal News- Dubai – The Seychelles Tourism Board (STB) Office in Dubai has recently organized and hosted a networking event last 29th November 2017 at the Ritz-Carlton, DIFC. The Seychellois evening was organized in collaboration with Conde Nast Traveler, a luxury and lifestyle magazine.
The invite-only event was graced by almost 200 attendees comprised of social media influencers and Conde Nast Traveler readers alike along with the STB Office in Dubai Regional Manager, Ahmed Fathallah as the initiator of the event.
This networking activity has become the perfect venue to highlight the beauty of the destination by featuring the films created by Conde Nast Traveler on Rhea Saran’s, CNT’s Editor-in-Chief, recent trip to the destination. The evening has also became an avenue for the media influencers to be thoroughly acquainted with the destination and collaborate with the Seychelles Tourism Board in promoting the destination capitalizing on their media advantages.
Support for the upcoming Conde Nast Readers’ Choice Awards have also overflowed when the attendees casted their votes for Seychelles as the Best Destination of their choice.
The night was ended by the STB Office in Dubai Regional Manager, Ahmed Fathallah’s speech as he delivered his gratitude for the continuous support of both consumers and media sector.
“We are jovial on the outcome of the event as we were able to promote the destination further in the consumer and media sector as well as update them on the latest product offerings of the Seychelles Islands.” says Fathallah, in its aim to strengthen ties with its consumer base to increase its reach and the aim to partake in more consumer focused activities to expand its clientele and make contact with more people.
In return and in line with the vision, Seychelles Tourism Board Office in Dubai will continue to implement activities that can gain continuous support from different sectors for the destination.
