06 Johannesburg – International SOS, the world’s leading medical and travel security risk services company, and Control Risks, the world’s leading specialist global risk consultancy, are very pleased to announce the appointment of Anneline Booyse-Mofokeng to the role of Security Director for Africa. Booyse-Mofokeng is an accomplished security professional, with previous security roles including at the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation, World Bank, Eskom Electoral Institute of Southern Africa South (EISA) and The Board of Healthcare Founders.
Anneline is a member of the OSAC Africa Region Committee, where she serves to both enhance the image of Africa and to drive the agenda for security in Africa. One of her passions is to continue with her successful contribution to the advancement of females in the field of security, and to enable them to reach their full potential.

Based in Johannesburg, Booyse-Mofokeng will deliver security consulting and training solutions to clients and members. In addition, she will have a fully integrated security operational role, providing business-as-usual support to Dubai and Europe Regional Security Centres as well as the wider Security Services platform.

Anneline holds a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from University of Stellenbosch and a Bachelor of Arts (Honours) in Political Studies from the University of Johannesburg amongst many and her latest qualification is a Masters Degree in Security Management from the School of Governance at Wits.
She believes in giving back to the community and does an annual talk at her hometown school to motivate rural scholars and is also part of Sizanani, an NPO, who supports learners from grade 10-12 in Alexandra Township, to improve marks to better their level of education at school and at university.
