On this day of 20 March, international Francophonie Day, the President of the African Tourism Board Alain St.Ange wishes all French-speaking states and countries around the world and their friends a happy celebration.
He recalled that the world has been fighting the COVID-19 pandemic for a year now, and added that this health crisis by upsetting established habits and mechanisms
has not spared the tourism industry.
On this joyful occasion, expressed under a theme of hope and action “French-speaking women, resilient women”, President Alain St.Ange did not hesitate to seize this blissful French-speaking energy and call for the Continent to show determination and creativity in order to give meaning and value to the wisdom and know-how of our grandmothers, our mothers and sisters who are also the fervent guardians and carriers of traditions and culture to next generations.
It is also in this sense that we will be able to protect and perpetuate our unique cultural diversity, a universal value of which we are all proud of it.
