Part Two of Women’s Voices in Tourism took place Saturday, April 17th, at 7 AM Pacific Time, for two hours. This is an important International Forum that represents the collective voices of woman involved in every sector of the travel industry. This three-part series spans a diverse set of topics, conversations that are all relevant to women involved in tourism, especially in light of global pandemic recovery.
One of the highlights of this webinar was its first speaker, Alain St.Ange, who wore his hat as the president of the African Tourist Board to address the urgent need for women in tourism to proceed with one unified goal.
crisis management
In the first seminar, we heard from women with expertise on strategic economic planning, environmental sustainability and community activism, associations that support women, planning tours for women and traveling as a single female, and the responsible role the travel media must play in this.
It will also addressed some difficult topics such as crisis management and the toll taken by human trafficking. In this second international forum, we continue to feature senior leaders from across the global industry who are coming together to share, learn, challenge and progress their understanding of inclusion and ultimately success in the travel business.
