Hospitality & Tourism Association of Seychelles (SHTA) meets island’s Minister of Tourism
aTP- Arab tourism portal- Sybille Cardon, the Chairperson of the Seychelles Hospitality and Tourism Association (SHTA) this week met with Minister Alain St.Ange, the Seychelles Minister responsible for Tourism and Culture in the presence of Anne Lafortune, his PS for Tourism at their ESPACE Building Offices.
The meeting called by the Tourism Association was to set the program for the public / private sector work next year. "The Association’s Chairperson wanted to put on the table some new ideas that could be beneficial to the industry and also some desired training by the Tourism Academy for the smaller establishment’s owners and their staff" said Minister St.Ange after the meeting.
"We discussed several areas of concern as seen by the Association, and we agree to discuss further many of the points raised by the Chairperson of the Association" said the Minister .
A schedule of meetings would now be set for the Association.
