Abu Dhabi – 42 Abu Dhabi, the UAE capital’s innovative and disruptive coding school that provides a unique peer-to-peer, gamified learning methodology hosted an insightful workshop under the title ‘Artificial Intelligence: A force for good’ by Dr. Sanaa Elyassami, an Associate Professor at 42 Abu Dhabi with a PhD in Artificial Intelligence.
This was the first workshop organized and hosted by 42 Abu Dhabi which was open for all the 42 network community, home to 47 campuses around the world, and saw a successful turnout of more than 1,000 virtual participants from across all the 42 network.
The workshop was open to tech enthusiasts, entrepreneurs, and anyone simply interested in the future of technology to explore current use cases of Artificial Intelligence (AI), considerations that come with its development and use, and the impact of AI on industries and society as a whole. Participants in the workshop gained an in-depth understanding of how AI is used in our daily lives, the history of its development, its application in machine learning algorithms and face recognition technologies and its major challenges.

Following the session, 42 Abu Dhabi’s students engaged in a Q&A session with Dr.Sanaa, which highlights 42 Abu Dhabi’s unwavering efforts to bring 42 Abu Dhabi coders together through engaging events that build on the 21st century skills that are key to decoding their potential in the digital field.
42 Abu Dhabi is an innovative and disruptive coding school, launched in 2020 as an initiative of the Abu Dhabi Department of Education and Knowledge (ADEK) and Abu Dhabi’s Ghadan 21 accelerator program, which aims to drive Abu Dhabi’s ongoing development through multi-faceted investments in business, innovation and people.
