Seychelles Tourism Board attends last tourism trade fair of the year
aTP- Arab tourism portal- The Seychelles Tourism Board’s Paris Office was again on the road recently, taking part in the last tourism trade fair for this year which was the International Luxury Travel Market (ILTM) held in Cannes, France.
The ILTM is an international fair which hosts potential selected buyers from all the over the world. It is an excellent platform to do business and build relationships, and it attracts the luxury high end market, introducing global travel buyers to a collection of international travel experiences.
Hosted at the Palais de Festival by the sunny seaside of Cannes, the ILTM saw up to 1,500 buyers from 77 countries attending to meet suppliers in packed individual appointments as well as social networking opportunities.
The Seychelles Tourism Board was represented by its Paris-based Senior Marketing Executive, Christine Vel, alongside local Destination Management Company partner 7° South and the Savoy Resort and Spa.
Miss Vel described the fair as a very successful one with the tourism office attending up to 46 meetings in the course of the three days..“There were some very good meetings coming from all parts of the world and it was a good chance to update them on the existing, new and upcoming products in Seychelles,” she said. Seychelles has been working hard to ensure it continues to claim its fair share of the European tourism market.
