Announcement Quiet Hotel Awards next Saturday
aTP- Arab tourism portal- On 19 December the Quiet Hotel Awards 2015 will be presented. After careful evaluation of the more than 100 hotels which possess a Quiet Room® label, the following categories and hotels have been designated as the winners of the first ever awards with regard to quiet hotel rooms.
The evaluation has been carried out by the independent Quietroom foundation, which monitors the qualification of hotels for the Quiet Room® label.
The selection is based on the following criteria:
· Occupation (busy) location of the hotel ·
Number of rooms and number of rooms with a QR-label ·
Number of rooms with the highest QR-qualification ·
Design & build measures for sound insulation ·

Quiet Hotel Award 2015
Hotel Regina in Paris, a completely renovated luxury hotel close to the Louvre which has recently acquired its 5th star, has been designated the overall winner.
The hotel is situated in a busy area, all its rooms have qualified for the QR-label and the hotel scores high on all the other criteria.
Quiet City Hotel Award Swissotel Amsterdam, a 4-star hotel on the Damrak, gets the award for its continuously high performance with regard to sound insulation, which is confirmed by excellent client reviews, and notwithstanding its very noisy location and high occupancy.
Quiet Airport Hotel Award
The Hilton Paris Orly Airport hotel receives an honourable mention for its good results in the face of high occupancy and a location close to one of france busiest airports.
