Seychelles Tourism Board thanks Emirates Airline for 10-year bond with Seychelles
ATP- Arab tourism portal- The Seychelles Tourism Board has expressed words of thanks to the Emirates Airline for the various marketing support received over the years, which —have indeed strengthen the relationship between the two parties.
These words were echoed by the chief executive of the Seychelles Tourism Board Sherin Naiken at a ceremony held to mark the 10-year anniversary of Emirates flying to Seychelles.
“I salute your effort over that time and the spirit of collaboration that you have shown throughout our partnership, standing resolute in challenging times and in the face of obstacles,” she said.
“It felt only like yesterday when Emirates landed for its first flight in Seychelles and sooner rather than later the twice weekly flight grew to 3 times and very fast with the support and push of the Minister for Tourism and Culture Alain St.Ange to daily flights.”
Miss Naiken added that since then, Emirates Airline has never looked back but instead the upward growth has continued until today.
“I look back with pride over those 10 years at what we have been able to achieve and how Emirates has helped to place the Seychelles on the map by ensuring that we are effectively only one stop way from almost anywhere on the planet.”
She added that by having reached this milestone, the Seychelles Tourism Board looks forward with confidence to the next 10 years of Emirates presence in Seychelles which are full of promise and, of course, will come with their own set of challenges.
“Such is the nature of life…. but I believe there is little that we cannot achieve when we can count on such partnerships as we the Seychelles Tourism Board continue to enjoy with Emirates Airlines,” she said.
Miss Naiken wished the Emirates Airline every success in reaching their next milestone, in their relations with Seychelles and in your continuing to provide an excellent service.
