aTP-  Arab tourism portal News- SCTH has intensified the inspection visits on tourist facilities in different provinces of the Kingdom recently to ensure enforcement of regulations to regulate tourism which came into force since last Ramadan.

The Director General of National Center for Tourism Human Resources Development (Takamul), Nasir bin Abdul Aziz Al Nashmi, in this context stressed the importance of providing qualified national cadres in different sectors of tourism and national heritage, expressing appreciation and gratitude to the great role played by the education sector and the tourism training facilities to qualify Saudi youth, both male and female, in order to make them ready to join the tourism sector jobs.

Al Nashmi also referred to the importance of the commitment of tourism facilities to the determined rates of Saudization and their adherence to hiring Saudi citizens in the positions confined to them.

"The regulations include fines for violators of up to SR 100,000 plus revocation of facility licenses or shutting off for a period of time depending on the severity of the individual case," he added.

Al Nashmi called on all investors and operators of tourism facilities to review these regulations on the SCTH portal on the following site: https://scth.gov.sa

He complimented the effective partnership and cooperation between SCTH and the Ministry of Labor and Social Welfare in the tourism sector’s Saudization efforts, adding that, communication between the two parties will be continuous on a daily basis, either between His Royal Highness Prince Sultan bin Salman bin Abdul Aziz, President of SCTH and His Highness Dr. Mufarrej Saad Al Haqbani,  Minister of Labor and Social Development, or between a the senior staff of SCTH and the Ministry’s members of joint committees to achieve the goals of both the parties within the Vision 2030 of the Kingdom.
