Bahraini passport holders get visa-free entry to Indonesia
ATP- Arab tourism portal- Bahrain passport holders will no longer require visa to travel Indonesia as part of a new policy to boost tourism from the region.
The Indonesian Embassy announced, June 25 , that following an initiative by its President Joko Widodo, Bahrain was on a list of several countries covered under the visa-free policy, said a report in the Gulf Daily.
Bahrainis will be allowed to enter through nine exit and entry points in Indonesia and allowed to stay for 30 days for tourism purposes.“The visa-free scheme cannot be extended beyond 30 days and cannot be converted to other types of visas or residential permits in Indonesia,” stated the embassy.
