More support from Airtel for Seychelles’ beauty queen
aTP- Arab tourism portal News – Miss Seychelles…another world 2016 Christine Barbier has once again received the support of local telecommunications company Airtel Seychelles.
The company’s managing director Amadou Dina handed over a cheque for R6000 to our beauty queen last Friday
Present were the head of the Seychelles Tourism Board Event’s section Marymonde Matatiken and other staff.
Mr Dina wished Miss Barbier the very best of luck and called on her to take the Seychelles’ flag high. He also told her to keep smiling and to remain with the positive attitude that she has.
"We look forward to following you on your journey in Washington at the Miss World beauty pageant and as part of our commitment we will be supporting you here locally through various means such as encourage people to vote for you", he added.
Miss Barbier echoed words of thanks to Airtel for supporting her on her journey to the Miss World Beauty with a Purpose pageant.
“Thanks to the support that I am receiving, I shall be able to fulfil my potential in terms of poise and elegance throughout the pageant.
I know it will be a long journey but with such generosity and enthusiasm, I am confident that I will be able to promote and represent my country to the very best of my ability,” she said.
