Seychelles Minister for Finance, Trade and Blue Economy meet with the Seychelles Car Hire Operators Association in the presence of Minister of Tourism & Culture
ATP- arab tourism portal- Following a meeting that the Seychelles Car Hire Operators Association previously had with the Minister for Tourism and Culture, Mr Alain St.Ange, a follow up meeting was organised with the Minister for Finance Trade and Blue Economy, Mr Jean Paul Adam to discuss a number of concerns related to their business operation.

The meeting was attended by the Chairman, Mr Vincent Padayachy and other members of the Association in the presence of Minister St.Ange. A number of points were discussed during the meeting which included the pressing issue of duty free hotel vehicles operating as taxis or car hires which is impacting on their daily business. Other important issues that were brought to the attention of the Minister of Finance include omnibus license, review of taxes on imported cars and other incentives that were previously discussed between the Ministry of Finance and the association.
After listening to the various concerns of the Seychelles Car Hire Operators Association, Minister Adam has agreed to look into these matters closely and to work with the association to find possible solutions to their concerns and a productive way forward.
These meetings organized by Government Ministers in a bid to remain connected with the private sector of the country.
