Cruise Ship business for Seychelles and the Vanilla Islands of the Indian Ocean as Minister St.Ange meets SILVERSEA Cruises at Tourism World Global Summit in Spain
ATP- arab tourism portal- Alain St.Ange, the Seychelles Minister responsible for Tourism and Culture who was in Madrid at the invitation of the WTTC (World Travel & Tourism Council) for their Global Summit took time to meet with the Chairman and with the Chief Executive Officer of SILVERSEA Cruiselines to discuss reenforcing cruise business in the Indian Ocean.
On the 24th Of April the COSTA Cruises Vice President will be in Seychelles to meet with Minister form the Vanilla islands of the Indian Ocean. Pascal Viroleau, the CEO of the Vanilla Islands will be sitting with Ministers from Seychelles, Mauritius, Madagascar and with the President of Reunion to discuss with COSTA Cruises increased business for the Indian Ocean. Pascal Viroleau had not yet received confirmation from the Comoros, Mayotte and the Maldives if they will be at this Ministerial meeting.
On the heels of these discussions the Seychelles Minister responsible for Tourism and Culture has been knocking on the doors of a second cruise ship company. Minister Alain St.Ange of the Seychelles met with Manfredi Lefebvre D’Ovidio, the Chairman of the SILVERSEA Cruises and with Enzo Visone, the Chief Executive Officer of the cruise line company to plan a meeting for the Indian Ocean Islands grouping.
"The meeting was very positive and at the next Vanilla islands Ministerial meeting that will be held in Seychelles on the 24th April we shall set a date for us to meet as a group with the SILVERSEA Cruise line Company. We shall continue to see how Port Victoria of the Seychelles is featured on their cruises and also we shall be discussing other options to increase cruise ship business for the region" said Minister St.Ange.
