Avance Sistemas implements OpenTravel with Jet Messaging
Front2Go interfaces with OpenTravel using Jet Messaging OTA C# libraries
ATP- arab tourism portal- Zurich, – Using Jet Messaging .NET development libraries, Avance Sistemas has added support for OpenTravel into their Front2Go property management system (PMS).
One of the most innovative cloud-based hotel operation systems available, Front2Go also provides relevant and valuable information to guests during their stay. Through a real time dashboard, property owners can manage front desk operations, rates and promotions, and customer loyalty data, consolidating the status of all hotel properties in one place.
In order to facilitate the flow of hotel information within multiple global distribution channels, Avance chose Jet Messaging Libraries when implementing the OpenTravel specification, which is represented by XML schemas with complex sets of sequences, collections, extensions, and restrictions.
Not only do JMT Libraries faithfully represent the fully defined OTA source schemas, but they provide embedded documentation and built-in type validation which dramatically reduces the early development phase of new software projects by eliminating the trial and error often associated with consuming a new web service.
Alfredo Malo, CIO of Avance Sistemas, said: "When we decided to incorporate the OpenTravel standard into our property management system, Jet Messaging’s fully featured set of C# libraries with Intellisense support helped us get up to speed quickly. We were able to implement the complex framework without first having to study every nuance of the source schema. Compared with the implementation of other XML interfaces, we estimate that we have achieved 75% time reduction in the communication protocol development cycle. We are now studying the possibility of using JMT Libraries for the electronic invoicing subsystems."
Through intelligent code generation, JMT Libraries provide embedded documentation and syntax validation. These can be referenced just like any other library within Visual Studio, enabling the rapid development of software applications.
Further C# libraries are available for the HTNG, IATA NDC, OTDS and ISO20022 schema definitions. Java library versions will be released later this year. Jet Messaging will also generate libraries directly from your custom XML schemas.
These ready-to-use DLLs are freely available for evaluation in the Jet Messaging online store at ComponentSource.
