Minister St.Ange from Seychelles received by Prefet de La Reunion at the start of his working visit in La Reunion

ATP-  arab tourism portal- Minister Alain St.Ange, the Seychelles Minister responsible for Tourism and Culture was received at the "Prefecture de La Reunion" soon after landing in La Reunion on his two day working visit accompanied by Sherin Naiken, the CEO of the Seychelles Tourism board and an important delegation of the island’s private sector tourism trade.

Mr Dominique Sorain, the Prefet de la Reunion welcome Minister St.Ange of the Seychelles to a working lunch in the presence of H.E. Lionel Majeste-Larrouy, the French Ambassador accredited to the Seychelles, Madame Sherin Naiken, the CEO of the Seychelles Tourism Board, Mr Patrick Devautour, Diplomatic Advisor of the Prefet, Madame Virginie K/Bidi, the Regional Vice President of La Reunion, Madame Lacroix Faveur, the second Regional Vice President of La Reunion  and of IRT (Ile Reunion Tourisme) and Mr Jean Claude Peche, the Seychelles Honorary Consul in La Reunion.

Minister St.Ange said when he addressed the working lunch that his mission was to strengthen the existing good working relationship between La Reunion and the Seychelles. He spoke about the work to help consolidate the Air Austral flights between Seychelles and La Reunion, the developing of more trade between the two islands to continue on the initiative launched by President Didier Robert, the Regional President of La Reunion when he accompanied a group of business personalities to Seychelles just over a year ago, easing of requirements for Seychellois nationals to enter La Reunion for short term stays, the development and the marketing of twin centre holidays with Seychelles and La Reunion, among many other subjects.

The Seychelles Minister also presented the Prefet of La Reunion with a Coffee Table Book on the Treasures of the Seychelles Underwater World.
