Hilton Worldwide Opens First Dual-Brand Property in Ohio
Debut of Hampton Inn & Suites and Homewood Suites by Hilton Cincinnati-Downtown Continues Brands’ Growth in Major U.S. Cities
ATP- arab tourism portal- Hilton Worldwide today announced the opening of its newest hotel, the dual-branded Hampton Inn & Suites Cincinnati-Downtown and Homewood Suites by Hilton Cincinnati-Downtown. Bringing a total of 249 new rooms to the heart of downtown Cincinnati, the opening demonstrates Hilton Worldwide’s ongoing urban expansion efforts in the focused service and extended stay sectors.
"Downtown Cincinnati is in the midst of a tremendous renaissance and bringing Hampton Hotels and Homewood Suites to a wide variety of travelers will be an important addition to the destination," said Phil Cordell, global head, Focused Service and Hampton Hotels, Hilton Worldwide. "As a dual-brand and adaptive re-use property, the hotel also demonstrates the innovative development models we are leveraging to introduce new product to the market."
Developed and owned by SREE Hotels, LLC, Hampton Inn & Suites and Homewood Suites by Hilton Cincinnati-Downtown is an example of the adaptive re-use hotel development trend in which historic locations, or buildings previously designed for other functions, are converted to a hotel. The property, built in 1926, served as the headquarters for the Cincinnati Enquirer and is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. Standing 14 stories, the hotel was Cincinnati’s first major art deco building and features large, arched windows and a grand lobby with intricate limestone, marble and copper work.
Conveniently located at 617 Vine St., the 144-room Hampton Inn & Suites and 105-suite Homewood Suites by Hilton Cincinnati-Downtown is within walking distance to the central business district, popular eateries, lively nightlife and extensive shopping. The hotels are also minutes from various attractions and entertainment venues including Fountain Square, U.S. Bank Arena, Great American Ballpark, Paul Brown Stadium, the Aronoff Center for the Arts and Duke Energy Convention Center.
The dual-brand concept creates enhanced and larger communal areas than would be standard at a stand-alone property, benefitting both business and leisure travelers. Guests at each property have access to the fitness center and billiards room. The hotel has two distinct lobbies offering two separate check-in desks and lodging/dining areas – each catering to the needs of their respective guests.
Hampton Hotels offer amenities, such as free Wi-Fi, a 24-hour business center with complimentary printing, and a fitness center. The hotel also provides free On the House hot breakfast or Hampton’s On the RunTM Breakfast Bags, available Monday through Friday. Guestrooms are equipped with the brand’s signature Clean and fresh Hampton bed®, microwave and coffeemaker. Inviting suites are also available, offering additional space and a comfortable sleeper sofa.
Homewood Suites by Hilton offers guests inviting, generous all suite-accommodations including fully equipped kitchens and complimentary internet, daily full-hot breakfast and complimentary evening social Monday-Thursday. In addition, the hotel offers a complimentary grocery shopping service* and fun recreational options, enabling travelers to "stay in the groove."
