Princess Khanyiso Dlamini of the Kingdom of Swaziland receives Seychelles Minister St.Ange at the Palace to discuss cultural exchanges
Almasalla, ATP News- Princess Khanyiso Dlamini of the Kingdom of Swaziland, the eldest daughter of His Majesty the King this week received Minister Alain St.Ange, the Seychelles Minister responsible for Tourism and Culture at the Kingdom’s Palace as the Seychelles Minister ended his day’s working visit to the Kingdom. Minister St.Ange was being accompanied by the island’s Consul to the Kingdom of Swaziland. Present also was the Kingdom’s Minister of Sports, Arts & Culture the Hon. Minister David Cruiser Ngcamphalala.
During the discussions Minister Alain St.Ange of the Seychelles invited Her Royal Highness Princess Khanyiso Dlamini of the Kingdom of Swaziland to consider to personally head the Kingdom’s delegation to the 2015 edition of the Carnival of Carnivals in the Seychelles this coming April. The Seychelles Minister had earlier in the day met with the Prime Minister of Swaziland where he officially presented an invitation for the Kingdom to showcase their culture at this years Carnaval International de Victoria that will beheld from the 24 to the 26 of April in Seychelles. Following that meeting at the Prime Minister’s Offices the Seychelles Minister was invited at the main Swazi Radio Station for an interview before conduction a series of TV and Written Press Interviews.
The discussions at the Palace between Her Royal Highness Princess Khanyiso Dlamini of the Kingdom of Swaziland and Minister Alain St.Ange of the Seychelles were centred on Cultural Exchanges between the two countries. The Seychelles Minister also discussed the possibility of Swazi tourism professionals to look at the new Seychelles Tourism Academy for further Hotel & Tourism Training. "We are lucky to have both english and french as our Official National languages along side our Creole language. So teaching is today taking place at our tourism academy in both english and french and if this can be an asset to Swazi tourism professionals we would be glad to receive them in Seychelles" said the island’s Minister.
Before being hosted to lunch at the Palace Minister Alain St.Ange presented to Her Royal Highness Princess Khanyiso Dlamini of the Kingdom of Swaziland a coffee table book of the Seychelles co-authored by himself and also a Coco de Mer shaped USB Key. HRH on her part presented the Seychelles Minister with a Swazi Glass ornament.
Speaking to the Press as he transited Johannesburg Airport from the Kingdom of Swaziland Alain St.Ange, the Seychelles Minister responsible for Tourism and Culture said that he had appreciated having been received at the Palace by HRH Princess Khanyiso Dlamini of the Kingdom of Swaziland. "I was humbled by her down to earth approach and can say that she is an excellent Ambassador for her Kingdom. I appreciated her desire to showcase her people’s culture and really hope she will accompany her Kingdom’s delegation to the 2015 edition of the annual Carnaval International de Victoria which will this year start on the 24th of April" said Minister Alain St.Ange.
