Prince Sultan bin Salman issues orders to establish – Vision 2030 Achievement – at SCTH
aTP- Arab tourism portal News – Prince Sultan bin Salman bin Abdul Aziz President of SCTH, recently instructed relevant department at SCTH to establish “Vision 2030 Achievement Office” in order to implement the initiatives and programs of the National Transformation Program (NTP), and any other executive programs of national importance, that may help achieve Vision 2030.
This decision falls within the efforts of SCTH and its attention towards achieving the aspirations of Kingdom’s Vision 2030, as well as putting into practice the Royal decision (No. 44643) dated 20 June 2016, regarding the establishment of offices for the NTP in the public administrations that are dedicated to achieve the program’s initiatives.
The resolution of President of SCTH assigned Vice-President of SCTH who is also the superintendent of the Comprehensive Development Program of SCTH and Vice-President of SCTH for Support Sector, to select the members of the Steering Committee of the institutional transformation.
The name “Vision 2030 Achievement Office” has been approved due to the recommendation of the Economic and Development Affairs Council, instead of its previous name (Transformation Office), in order to ensure complementarity between the efforts of the various executive departments with the supporting authorities within the framework of the governance of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia 2030 Vision.
The office will undertake a number of tasks which should be integrated with the efforts and tasks of the supporting authorities under the Vision’s achievement system, such as “rapid intervention and achievement center”, “the national center for measuring the performance of public bodies”, and the like tasks.
Worth noting, the National Transformation Program was approved by the Council of Ministers at its session on 6 Jun 2016, chaired by the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdul Aziz , and the session also approved the 13 initiatives submitted by SCTH costing over SR 10.48 billion.
