SCTA President: Saudi Colors Forum 2014 allows the Saudi citizen to take a closer look at his homeland

 

 

 

Almasalla, ATP News- His Royal Highness Prince Sultan bin Salman bin Abdul Aziz President of SCTA, has recently announced that tourism and heritage events will continuously be held throughout the year across different parts of the Kingdom under “Saudi Colors Forum” after the notable success that the recent forum has achieved and the large interaction seen in its activities and events.
 

 

“The intended events will include organization of moving exhibitions for winning works of Saudi Colors Award in addition to conducting workshops, training courses and organizing photography trips to tourism and heritage sites,” added HRH.

 

HRH President of SCTA made his announcement following the opening ceremony of the accompanied exhibition of Saudi Colors Forum 2014 in its 3rd version last Sunday at Riyadh International Convention and Exhibition Center.
 

 

“I felt so proud after I had seen, during my tour in the exhibition, such a wonderful works of art that have been made by the sons and daughters of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia who with their cameras have depicted the beauty of Saudi nature and heritage.  They have who toured throughout the country to create such great artistic works which reflect their feelings about the places that they have visited, as well as the social, environmental, humanitarian and cultural diversity that they touched throughout the country,” His Royal Highness said.
 

 

HRH President of SCTA added that, photographing tourism and heritage sites across Kingdom’s different parts is an important work, serving the domestic tourism and highlighting country’s tourism potentials.
 

 

“Through this forum we look forward to create a window for Saudi citizen through which he can take a closer look at his homeland. This forum is one of the many windows that are created by SCTA in collaboration with the Ministry of Culture and Information”.
 

 

“We work in close partnership with the General Presidency of Youth Welfare (GPYW). There are many events carried by SCTA in collaboration with its partners such as the rallies and the like events. We have still a long way to go. The new destinations will have many aspects that serve the youth. The youth should be part of any economic or cultural project and the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques (may Allah protect him) focuses on the youth, particularly now. The youth should know the history of this country and the great efforts of our forefathers who made the country’s great unity possible.” His Royal Highness concluded.
