His presence in Seychelles for the second edition of the Seychelles-India Day Celebrations brought a new turning point at how Indo-Seychelles cuisine can complement each other and can melt into new delights. At Eden Plaza, Chef Kapur gave his best shot at offering an attracting alternative to home- made Indo-Seychelles cuisine.
Chef Kapur is convinced Seychelles best produce, in term of quality and spices can easily be blended with Indian spices to create a new generation of dishes accessible to all. ‘’ There is no comparison between Seychelles and Indian Cuisine.

If Chef Kapur who has for the first time discovered Seychelles cuisine and spices and felt they were good enough to bring a new taste in Indo-Seychelles cuisine, the bottom line is every one can do it. Commenting about his presence in Seychelles-India Day Celebrations, Chef Kapur outlined “art, music and food are three great forms of expression of a community’’. Coming from a modest Punjabi family, Kunar Kapul learned the art of cooking from his father, uncle and grandfather, who inspired him to develop the art.
He was selected by India’s television network, Star Plus, to host his own culinary show since 2008. Chef Kapur is not yet done with Seychelles. He is sure to come back and this time on a family vacation.
