At IFTM in Paris – French Secretary of State for Tourism, Matthias Feckl meets Alain St.Ange, the Seychelles Minister for Tourism and Culture
Almasalla,Gate Arab Tourism News- Matthias Feckl, the French Secretary of State for Tourism met Alain St.Ange, the Seychelles Minister responsible for Tourism and Culture as he toured IFTM Top Resa 2014. Secretary of State Feckl and his entourage made his programmed stop at the Seychelles Stand where he was greeted by the Seychelles Minister and Sherin Naiken, the CEO of the Island’s Tourism Board and Bernadette Willemin, the European Director for the Seychelles Tourism Board.
It was the opportunity for Minister St.Ange to retrace the attachment between France and Seychelles and also to restate that France remains the main tourism source market for the Seychelles. "This is why Seychelles continues to be present at IFTM Top Resa year after year. We know that France knows the Seychelles and that France understands the Seychelles, these mid ocean islands that were once a French Department in the Indian Ocean" Minister St.Ange said.
The Minister also emphasised the good working relationship that seychelles and La Reunion Island continues to enjoy.
Secretary of State Feckl commented on the known attributes of the Seychelles saying that the islands were known as the dream holiday destination. The visit was followed by the Official Ministerial Lunch to launch IFTM Top Resa 2014.
