DJs and artists host first-ever Seychelles beach party on La Digue
Almasalla,Gate Arab Tourism News-The popular Anse Kalis on La Digue was packed last Saturday afternoon with young people dancing and cheering while Seychelles top DJs and artists enthralled their crowd with the latest vibrant tunes
.
This first-ever hype beach party was part of the activities to mark the Feast of the Assumption last weekend on La Digue.
Organised by Trinity Production in collaboration with the Takamaka Bay, the beach party has been hailed as a success by its organisers.
This event, which will be going round the country is surely set to be a hit among young people as it attracted a large number of youngsters that day.
Seychelles’ top Dj Ezy D of Paradise Fm, who is also one of the main organisers of this event, said after realising that there is no such activities dedicated for the young people only during major feast like the one on La Digue, it was then felt that there is a need to host one.
Apart from Dj Ezy D and artist and colleague Dj of Paradise FM DMC TajDjs, other DJs who were taking part in the party were from Mahe, Praslin, La Digue and DJ Mad Dave, a Seychellois from Dubai.
A well-organised event, the hosts had ensured that there were ample security for the few hours which the activity was being held, taking into account the safety of the youths there
.
The beach party is set to be an annual event on La Digue as part of the Feast of the Assumption activities.
Tourism and Culture Minister Alain St.Ange has commended Dj Ezy D and his team for the initiative and for the good organisation of the event. When he addressed the event Minister St.Ange said that as the Minister responsible for culture it was important to continue to meet the aspirations of Seychellois of all ages. "This event is for our younger generation.
Today I am happy to see that they are here in great numbers and enjoying a beach party that have been asking for" the Minister said.
