James Lesperance and Rondolph Payet use the investment forum to successfully showcase new fish products for local and export markets
aTP- Arab tourism portal News – Two Seychellois entrepreneurs used the last investment forum and its exhibition that is being held as part of the annual general meeting of the shareholders of the African Export-Import Bank (Afreximbank) taking place in Seychelles from July 18-24 to showcase their new fish products "Made in Seychelles" by their
Amirantes Fisheries (Pty) Ltd – Seychelles Company. James Lesperance, the Chairman of the Company and Rondolph Payet, the Business Development Director both joined together this week at the investment forum to welcome Tourism and Culture Minister, Alain St.Ange and the Minister responsible for the Environment & Energy Didier Dogley to their stand to see for themselves what they were now producing. From fish pate, to dried fish biltong like, to salted fish, tuna chutney etc all properly packages for export were on show and they were not at all shy to encourage everyone to taste their latest creations.
The two Seychellois had taken the appeal by Minister Jean Paul Adam, the Seychelles Minister for Finance, Trade and the Blue Economy to the letter and said that they were now ready to take on they export market with Seychelles products which has been given the thumbs up by all who stopped at their stand.
Minister St.Ange, who was being accompanied by his PS for Tourism Anne Lafortune and the CEO of the Seychelles Tourism Board Sherin Naiken said that he saluted the initiative of the two Seychellois and wish them well in their venture. "What you have on display today is at par if now better that what is being
imported into our country in term of looks, but the taste is just great" said Minister St.Ange.
