Winners from Next Hot Model UK win trip to Seychelles

Almasalla- Arab Travel Portal News – The two winners from the Next Hot Model UK have won a trip of a lifetime to Seychelles which will be the location for their first professional photo-shoot.
Budding models Daisy and Robert were chosen ahead of 22 other finalists in a beautiful Grand Final Catwalk held last night at the Hilton Brighton Metropole in Brighton.
The final of the competition was attended by a delegation from Seychelles which was the partner destination of the night and the Chief Executive of the Seychelles Tourism Board, Sherin Naiken, was also a guest judge at the event.
This is the second year running that the winners of the competition will be heading to Seychelles for their photo-shoot and the organisers have thanked the Seychelles Tourism Board for supporting them in making this happen.
Throughout February and April, the annual Next Hot Model UK competition have held heats across eight of the major towns and cities of the South; from Portsmouth to Brighton and up to Crawley, in a bid to find aspiring and unsigned models who dream of going on the catwalk and entering the glossy world of high-fashion.
The final on Saturday was an exciting opportunity to show their talents in front of the UK’s media and fashion experts.
Congratulating the finalists, the founder and creator of the competition, Fatosh Kalan, said Next Hot Model UK is a unique concept where they look for a ‘hot girl and guy’ who are looking to break into a modelling career. She added that in conjunction with London fashion agency PRM, the final was also a fantastic opportunity for all finalists to gain experience and exposure to promote themselves.
“Besides winning exclusive modelling contracts from London PRM model agency, the winners will also be jetted off for a week of pure luxury in the islands of Seychelles where they will receive a photo-shoot of a lifetime,” she said.
The final included Catwalk 1 which was a male and female introduction with the RTH London Clothing, Catwalk 2 was a casual wear by Profile Fashion Clothing, Catwalk 3 was a swimwear with Café Bleu Shirts and Profile Fashion Clothing and Catwalk 4 was evening wear by Profile fashion Clothing.
Ms Naiken said the Seychelles Tourism Board felt honoured to be invited to attend the event and even more so, to be represented on the panel of judges. She said the tourism board will be working with the organisers now to plan their photo-shoot which will take place in September.
“After a successful photo-shoot last year which won us a lot of coverage in the fashion and lifestyles magazines in UK, the organisers approached us again in January, informing us that they would like to offer their winners a trip to Seychelles again this year,” she said.
“It is a pleasure for us to work with them again and we would give all our support to ensure the photo-shoot will be another success and Seychelles will benefit from the visibility that would come with it.”
