Iowa Capitol Welcomes New Hampton Inn & Suites
Hamptonality extends to Downtown Des Moines
Almasalla- Arab Travel Portal News – DES MOINES, Iowa- Hampton Hotels, Hilton Worldwide s global brand of more than 1,900 mid-priced Hampton Inn, Hampton Inn & Suites, and Hampton by Hilton hotels, today announced the official opening of its newest property, the 131-room Hampton Inn & Suites Des Moines Downtown located at 120 SW Water Street in Des Moines.
"Guests traveling to Des Moines will find the downtown area has plenty of activities to partake in such as the Greater Des Moines Botanical Garden and Pappajohn Sculpture Park," said John Hansen, general manager, Hampton Inn & Suites Des Moines Downtown. "The addition of our hotel with our welcoming staff will only add to the overall experience of what makes downtown Des Moines an appealing tourist location."
The hotel is owned by Waterfront Lodging, Inc. and managed by Hawkeye Hotels, Inc. It is the 18th Hampton property in the state.
Business and leisure travelers will appreciate the hotel’s proximity to Des Moines International airport, which is 15 miles away. Just off I-235, the hotel overlooks the Des Moines River from the heart of the city. Nearby tourist attractions include the Science Center of Iowa, the Iowa State Capitol, which houses the only five-dome capitol in the country, and the City Center. Shopping centers and restaurants located in the historic East Village are close by as well.
Guest rooms are equipped with modern amenities designed to help guests relax, including free Wi-Fi, microwave, refrigerator, LCD flat screen TV and signature clean and fresh Hampton bed®.
