Seychelles diving picture by Imran Ahmad is photo of the day by National Geographic
Almasalla- Arab Travel Portal News – Imran Ahmad B. Rayat Ahmad, the Nikon Professional Photographer as well as the Edition Fifty Fathoms Photographer and Ocean Artist Society Member has has one of his underwater photos taken in Seychelles recorded as the photo of the day by National Geographic.
The underwater pictures by Imran Ahmad were recently exclusively used by Alain St.Ange and Glynn Burridge in their Seychelles Tourism Board’s new limited edition coffee table book entitled "Seychelles Unexpected Treasures", a book that is described as Underwater PhotoArt by Imran Ahmad.
Alain St.Ange is also the Seychelles Minister responsible for Tourism and Culture who has been co-publisheing a series of coffee table books with Glynn Burridge, the Copywriter at the Seychelles Tourism Board.
On hearing about the coverage being received by the shark image that was used on the cover of the "Seychelles Unexpected Treasures" Book, Imran Ahmad wrote to Minister St.Ange of the Seychelles saying:- "Our shark image of Aldabra was voted by the people and showcase by National Geographic on their site. 14K likes…"
The "Seychelles Unexpected Treasures" Book that was published only in April and launched during the press conference of the 2014 edition of the Carnaval International de Victoria has been receiving glowing reviews and has now been entered in competitions for what is considered best in the world.
Alain St.Ange, the Seychelles Minister responsible for Tourism and Culture has said that he was thrilled to see photos of the underwater world of Seychelles being so appreciated. "We know we have the best in aquarium like submarine life. Today what we have is being shown off because of the support of friends like Imran Ahmad who have fallen in love with what Seychelles has. Our diving niche market will but benefit from all this visibility we are now having" Minister St.Ange said.
