aTP-  Arab tourism portal News- Gulf Air, the national carrier of Bahrain, has unveiled plans boost its Riyadh service from 32 to 35 weekly flights starting from October 30 to meet high passenger demand.

The airline’s five daily Riyadh service will better serve passengers affording them with greater choices and enhanced two way connectivity across the Gulf Air network.

Commenting on the airline’s enhanced schedule, Gulf Air chief executive officer Maher Salman Al Musallam said: "Bahrain and Saudi Arabia have historically held strong ties and this is supported by the longstanding service offered by Gulf Air between the two kingdoms – dating back to 1950.

We are always looking to cater to and satisfy the high demand on our five destinations in Saudi Arabia, in light of the strong relationship between the two kingdoms and their people.

By enhancing the existing Gulf Air service to/from Riyadh we are offering a greater selection of flights and improved connections for those passengers travelling to and from Gulf Air’s network of onwards destinations across the globe, increasing passenger convenience – which is our ultimate goal.

”Gulf Air’s existing operations in Saudi Arabia consist of direct service to the cities of Riyadh, Jeddah, Madinah, Dammam and Gassim.
