Prince Sultan bin Salman President of SCTA to receive "Leadership Award" from AHIC
Almasalla Arab Travel Portal News – Prince Sultan bin Salman bin Abdul Aziz, President of SCTA, today later (Sunday, 4th May) will receive "Leadership Award" in the field of hotel investment from the Arabian Hotel Investment Conference (AHIC-2014) in recognition of his persistent efforts and for his important role in development of tourism sector and hotel investment in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
The award will be handed over to HRH President of SCTA in the opening ceremony of the conference which will be held in Madinat Jumeirah, Dubai, UAE, from Sunday to Monday on the sidelines of the events of the Arabian Travel Market 2014 that in which SCTA will represent the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. The event will be attended by international companies’ leaders, hotel managers, senor officials in hospitality business in addition to international investors in hotel and hospitality area.
Following the award ceremony, SCTA President will attend an interview with media, in which is expected to give detailed information on the present and the future of hotel investments in the Kingdom. Arabian Hotel Investment Conference (AHIC-2014):
The event will be held in Madinat Jumeirah, Dubai, UAE, under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Ahmad bin Saeed Al Maktoum, President of Dubai Civil Aviation Authority.
AHIC Participants:
The conference which will be held under the theme "A Decade of Defining Hotel Investment Landscape” will be attended by over 550 participants including leaders of the hospitality sector, key investors in hotels, industry developers, operators, and advisors, who will engage in in-depth discussions highlighting the current and future status of tourism and hospitality in the region.
Sessions:
The conference within its agenda this year will devote several sessions. The first day will host a session under the theme "Hospitality sector in GCC and surrounding countries", which will be one of the most important sessions and is expected to essentially focus on the GCC governments’ plans for sustainable development
.
The session also is expected to discuss the GCC governments’ plans in fulfilling the increased demand on hospitality sector, tourism sector and infrastructure, and how the partnerships between the public and private sectors can boost investment in this sector.
A large number of most eminent leaders in the hospitality sector are scheduled to participate in this session representing both the public and private sector in the region.
