CNN in Seychelles for the 2014 Carnival interviews Seychelles Minister St.Ange
Almasalla Arab Travel Portal News – Ian Lee, the CNN Correspondent and Mary Rogers, the CNN Producer and Camerawoman who were in Seychelles to cover the 2014 edition of the annual Carnaval International De Victoria caught up with Alain St.Ange, the island s Minister responsible for Tourism and Culture for an interview on the event that has now captured worldwide interest.
This year 151 members of the international press travelled to Seychelles for the Carnival that was being jointly co-hosted by Seychelles, La Reunion, Madagascar, Mayotte and South Africa KwaZulu Natal.
After the interview Minister Alain St.Ange said that it was rewarding to see CNN in Seychelles covering an event staged in Seychelles for the Community of Nations to spread the message of unity through the showcasing of culture and in so doing the peoples from respected tourism destinations.
The CNN Team covered the sunset cruise on the Cat Cocos Fast Ferry as well as the Official Opening a Ceremony, the Carnival Parade Day and the Family Fun Day with the island’s first Kiddies Carnival.
