Riyadh Governor to patronage STTIM-2014 on Sunday
Almasalla Arab Travel Portal News – Prince Khalid bin Bandar bin Abdul Aziz, Governor of Riyadh region and Chairman of the Riyadh Tourism Development Council on next Sunday, 30th March, will declare open the events of the Saudi Travel and Tourism Investment Market (STTIM-2014) at the Riyadh International Convention and Exhibition Center (RICEC).
The opening ceremony will be attended by HRH Prince Sultan bin Salman bin Abdul Aziz, President of SCTA and HE Eng. Abdul Lateef bin Ahmed Al Othman, Governor of Saudi Arabia General Investment Authority (SAGIA).
On the time line, STTIM-2014 will feature four dialogue sessions and over 35 workshops, training courses and lectures devoted to tourism sector staff and aim at benefiting all the people who work in tourism industry in addition to partners of SCTA and SCTA’s branches. These sessions will be addressed by over 80 international and national experts and specialists who will focus on the most important issues that relate to tourism industry.
The sessions will discuss various topics such as "The role of new transportation projects in the stimulation and development of tourism sector", “Reality and the future of investment in the tourism sector”, “The entertainment and tourism industry”, “The role of youth in the development of the tourism sector”.
Scientific session will focus on a number of topics such as "e-marking operating in the tourism sector", "development of travel and tourism agencies, tour operators and tour guides", "role of tourism vocational associations", "better organization of tourism events, convention and exhibition", "preservation and investment of architectural heritage", and "development of tourism programs" and "private museum management".
The accompanied exhibition of STTIM-2014 will be held over an area of 15,000 square meters, and expected to enjoy high-level of national and international participation by relevant public and private departments. Also in which is scheduled to take part 300 specialized bodies in tourism, entertainment and aviation in addition to 14 tourism organizations. Also it will show mega projects of tourism from different parts of the Kingdom.
This year will witness a heavy participation by different provinces of Saudi Arabia represented by the Provincial Tourism Development Councils.
The award ceremony of the Saudi Excellence in Tourism Award is set to be held on the sidelines of the events of STTIM-2014 under the patronage of His Royal Highness Prince Sultan bin Salman bin Abdul Aziz, President of SCTA.
