Seychelles Minister appears on Dubai 1 Television Channel – Emirates News with Ramia Farrage
 

Almasalla Arab Travel Portal News – Alain St.Ange, the Seychelles Minister responsible for Tourism and Culture was invited to appear live on the 7pm Emirates News last Sunday. Emirates News is the daily evening show on Dubai One hosted by Ramia Farrage. The show provides breaking news stories, in-depth reports covering relevant events from Dubai and around the world.
 

"Dubai One is a channel catering to the entertainment needs of English speaking Arabs and Expatriates in the region. It is the television channel for news and information for English-speaking residents of the UAE and for those interested in English language news. This television channel also showcases high quality Western acquired content " said a representative of Dubai 1 to Minister St.Ange as he waited to be guided to the News Room.

Minister St.Ange was on a transit stop in Dubai coming fro the ITB Tourism Trade Fair in Berlin and called for a Press Conference to update the Dubai and Abu Dhabi Press on the State of the Tourism Industry and to relay all relevant information on the coming 2014 edition of the Carnaval International de Victoria.
 

Ramia Farrage is a known and respected Television personality in Dubai and started her introduction to announce the presence of Minister St.Ange on her News Segment with the following:- "A high level delegation from Seychelles is in Dubai promoting the Indian Ocean Vanilla Islands Carnival. It’s a major international event for those beautiful islands, and it adds to the increasing appeal of the destination to travelers from the Gulf.I’m joined by the Minister for Tourism and Culture of the Seychelles, Alain St.Ange" Ramia Farrange said.
 

The Seychelles Minister used his time on Dubai 1 Television Channel – Emirates News to speak about the press conference he had addressed earlier in the day and the purpose of his stop over in Dubai. Minister St.Ange also explained the international events, inclusive of the Carnaval International de Victoria that is staged annually in the Seychelles during the last weekend of April, saying that Seychelles and the Indian Ocean Region as a whole was benefiting from increased visibility because of that carnival. The interview was also the opportunity for Minister Alain St.Ange to update the audience of Dubai I on the increasing number of visitors from the Gulf and why Seychelles continued to appeal to them.
 

"We are situated but some four hours ten minutes from the hub of Dubai and Abu Dhabi. We remain Visa Free as a tourism destination and we are a safe tourism destination" Minister St.Ange said as he explained the unique selling points of Seychelles to the Gulf live on Dubai 1 Television channel – Emirates News with Ramia Farrage.

 Minister Alain St.Ange said as he was leaving the Dubai 1 Television Studio that his working stop over in Dubai had been worth his while. "Sherin Naiken, the CEO of the Tourism Board and landed here in Dubai early this morning on our way back to Seychelles after having attended the 2014 ITB Tourism Trade Fair in Berlin. We have worked all day doing press interviews and we also addressed a press conference. Appearing on Dubai 1 tonight before we head back to the airport was really appreciated. We thank our teams in Dubai and in Abu Dhabi for having coordinated this Carnival Dialogue with the Press. The day has been a total success for us and for Seychelles" Minister St.Ange said.
