Hilton Seychelles Hotels group thanks outgoing cluster general manager and welcomes new leaders
aTP- Arab tourism portal News – A special cocktail reception was hosted at the Hilton Seychelles Northolme Resort & Spa recently to thank and bid farewell the former cluster manager of Hilton Seychelles Hotels Claus Steiner and to welcome two new general managers.
Attending the event were the Designated Minister Vincent Meriton, the Minister for Tourism and Culture Alain St.Ange, PS for Tourism Anne Lafortune, other government officials, members of the diplomatic corps and representatives of the private sector.
The two new general managers are Gregory Thierion who will head the Hilton Seychelles Northolme Resort & Spa and Double Tree by Hilton Seychelles Allamanda Resort & Spa, and Andre Borg who will be based at the Hilton Seychelles Labriz Resort & Spa of Silhouette Island.
Speaking at the event, Minister St.Ange described Mr Steiner as a true partner whom the tourism industry could count on. He congratulated Mr Steiner for what he has achieved during the four years that he has been in Seychelles, adding that he has played a great role in the development of our tourism and hospitality industry.
Minister St.Ange also welcomed Messrs Borg and Thierion to Seychelles and in the tourism industry of the country. He added that Hilton Seychelles Hotels have three good properties here and reaffirmed the support and commitment of the Ministry of Tourism and Culture as well as the Seychelles Tourism Board to the new general managers and Hilton Seychelles Hotels.
Mr Steiner echoed words of thanks to the team that he has worked with during the past four years. He said it has been a great pleasure working in such a beautiful country like Seychelles, adding that he and his team have done their best to be good ambassadors of this paradise.
He also welcomed the two new general managers and wished them well as they take up their new roles at Hilton Seychelles Hotels.
Mr Borg said it is a great honour to be proud of the Seychelles’ tourism industry, adding that they are here to serve as hoteliers and to contribute to the tourism sector.
On his part Mr Thierion said with the support of all the members of the Hilton Seychelles Hotels and other partners, Mr Borg and himself will take these three hotels to the next level.
