Artists from the Creole Community of the World join together to perform at the Official opening ceremony of the 2013 Festival Kreol in Seychelles
Almasalla Travel News – Victoria -Special report – The annual gathering of Creole Artists in Victoria, the Creole Capital of the World was a spectacle described by all present as a show of force by the Creole Community of the World. Musicians from Seychelles, La Reunion, Mauritius, Rodrigues, Martinique and Haiti were all on stage performing one after the other before all joining for a family show of force as the opening ceremony of the 2013 Festival Kreol closed.
The Creole Community is clearly growing in the world and this annual gathering in Victoria, the Creole Capital of the World to mark World Creole Day of the 28th October is now an event well positioned on the International Calendar of Events as the annual gathering being used by the Creole Community of the World to showcase their respective unique culture, music, dance and cuisine.
"Unbelievable" is the word used by the large number of foreign journalists to describe the diversity in the Creoles from the World and in this diversity the strength displayed in unity and pride.
"Seychelles remains proud to have pioneered this annual gathering for the Creole Community of the World in a Festival Kreol now celebrating its 28th edition" Alain St.Ange, the Seychelles Minister responsible for Tourism and Culture said after all the Musicians from six islands from the World of Creoles had gathered on stage in Victoria, the Creole Capital of the World.
