aTP- Arab tourism portal- The Seychelles Minister for Tourism and Culture Alain St.Ange was in the UK on Tuesday 08th March 2016 as a guest of honor to attend the book launch of Leigh Russell’s new Lucy Hall series set in the Seychelles at the Sherlock Holmes Hotel in Baker Street in the company of other mystery writers and publishing houses.
In attendance at the event were members of the Seychelles Tourism Board’s London Office – Marketing Executive – Eloise Vidot and Manager –Tinaz Wadia and the Seychelles Tourism Ambassador in London Georgina Dhillon.
Set on the beautiful island of Mahé, Journey to Death is the first title in Leigh Russell’s new Lucy Hall series, published by Thomas and Mercer. Leigh Russell writes the internationally bestselling Geraldine Steel and Ian Peterson series for No Exit Press.

Leigh Russell in conjunction with the Seychelles Tourist Office in London ran a competition prior to the launch of the book. The prize winner won – a Coco De Mer and a beautifully carved box containing two bottles of Takamaka Bay rum during the launch ceremony. The Minister also presented the author with a book from the Seychelles during the event.
Speaking at the event, the Minister said ‘it is a honour to have the Seychelles as backdrop for the book and delighted that The Times had recently described the book as ‘one of the best titles hitting the shelves’, and readers posting comments like this: ‘The setting in Seychelles was gorgeous and makes me want to go there, in fact it’s now on my list of places to visit.’ I hope that this book will inspire more readers to travel to the Seychelles’
