BEST BEACH GOES TO SEYCHELLES IN LIST OF FIFTY BEACHES IN THE WORLD

aTP-  Arab tourism portal- The Guardian newspaper of the UK has just published their list of the World’s Best fifty beaches and the picture-postcard beach of Source D’Argent on La Digue island was ranked No.1.

That beach on La Digue Island of the Seychelles was also categorized as the "BEST FOR WOW FACTOR".  The description of the beach on La Digue as spelled out by The Guardian says: "As if a beach like this needed any enhancement, pink-hued sand ups the ante in the picture-postcard stakes at Source d’Argent, a secluded cove on La Digue, the Seychelles’ third-largest island (in an archipelago of 115). Huge, weathered granite boulders bookend the shore, and there are nearby restaurants for sampling Creole-inspired cuisine"

Seychelles is known for its white sandy beaches that are clean and for its year round turquoise blue seas that laps its clean beaches. These mid-ocean islands are situated but 4 degrees south of the equator and enjoy year round summer. They are also situated just above the cyclonic belt. The island’s Minister responsible for Tourism and Culture Alain St.Ange said on hearing the news that Source D’Argent on La Digue has been named the best beach of the world that he was thrilled. "We know we are the best for a sun, sea and sand holiday because we have a number of the best beaches and clear turquoise blue seas over and above a weather pattern that has given us the name of the islands of perpetual summer.

This latest recognition is because our islands have managed the natural assets it has been blessed with. The Seychellois people are today seen as good custodians of its natural beauty" said Minister St.Ange of the Seychelles.
