Constance Lemuria chef to represent Seychelles at upcoming Bernard Loiseau culinary contest to be held in Mauritius in March
aTP- Arab tourism portal- Hildy Sinon is a name which is well-known in the various culinary contests locally and regionally. The young chef de partie of top resort on Praslin island, Constance Lemuria Seychelles has once again been able to shine in the culinary world.
She will be proudly representing her workplace and country at the 11th Bernard Loiseau culinary festival to be held at the Constance Belle Mare Plage in Mauritius from 12th to 20th of March 2016.
The Bernard Loiseau competition is a high-level culinary contest which has over the years turned into a festival. It gives chefs of Constance hotels to showcase their culinary talents and creativity.
For this competition, six international chefs, holding one star in the Michelin guide will each be paired with a chef from the Constance hotels and resorts who will be taking part in this competition.
Each pair will then have to use their creativity and culinary skills to come up with original dishes which will then be assessed by top chefs and experts from across the world.
Miss Sinon, who is also the acting sous chef at Constance Lemuria Seychelles, has spent 12 years working at the resort, specialises in cold and hot kitchen. She has won first prize in the first and second Praslin Culinary and Arts Fiesta held in 2014 and 2015 respectively.
The Minister for Tourism and Culture Alain St.Ange met Miss Sinon at Constance Lemuria Seychelles during a visit there last week, where he also met the His Majesty King Letsie III of Lesotho who chose Seychelles as the place to greet the New Year.
Also present to congratulate the chef were the principal secretary for tourism Anne Lafortune, Captain Guy Adam, one of the directors of the resort’s holding company and the general manager Bruno Le Gac. "I need to congratulate Hildy Sinon for being the chosen one to represent her country at this international gatherings of professionals. Flying one’s flag high is always an honour and we need to reassure Hildy that we are proud of her.

Hildy stands out because she has the tenacity and desire to succeed and for this we must all wish her continued success" said Minister Alain St.Ange after meeting Hildy Sinon on Praslin.
