Abu Dhabi Air Expo 2016 reveals prestigious line-up of sponsors
Fourth Abu Dhabi Air Expo to see record attendance
aTP- Arab tourism portal- Abu Dhabi, – Al Bateen Executive Airport, the only dedicated business aviation airport in the region; today announced prestigious sponsors for Abu Dhabi Air Expo 2016.
The show, which will be held from March 8th to 10th as part of Abu Dhabi Aviation and Aerospace Week, under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces and Chairman of the Abu Dhabi Executive Council, has confirmed its position as a dedicated business platform for the aviation industry, bringing leading industry players and decision makers together under one roof.
Driven by its commitment to support events that play an vital role in developing innovation-led and knowledge based economic sectors, Abu Dhabi National Oil Company (ADNOC) has signed up as Platinum sponsor for the fourth consecutive edition. Etihad Airways, the national airline of the UAE, has committed once again to be the ‘Official Carrier’ for the 2016 Abu Dhabi Air Expo.
Royal Jet will be a Diamond sponsor this year; the award-winning international luxury flight services provider headquartered in Abu Dhabi is one of the world’s largest independent BBJ operators.
Abu Dhabi Aviation, the largest commercial helicopter operator in the Middle East, has also confirmed its participation and support for the show as Diamond sponsor. Mubadala will hold Gold Sponsor status this year. With their global network of aerospace businesses, Mubadala is an active investor in sectors and geographies that hold exciting potential and tangible returns, working in partnership with a number of world-class organizations as part of the UAE government’s economic diversification mandate.
Falcon Aviation Services (FAS), one of the most successful corporate jet and helicopter service providers in the UAE and GCC region, has also committed to Gold Sponsor status.
Breitling, synonymous with air travel through its specialized precision made chronometers useful to aviators, will be this year’s “official time keeper” during the Air Expo. Breitling has played a crucial role in the development of the wrist chronograph and is widely regarded as the maker of choice by many of the world’s pilots. In addition, Global Aerospace Logistics (GAL) will be Gold sponsor status.

The three day Air Expo event is set to welcome over 20,000 visitors from the aviation and aerospace industries. An exhibitor line-up of 300 manufacturers and suppliers will showcase the latest innovations and development in private jet aircraft, helicopters, executive charter services, airport equipment and services, avionics systems, insurance and financing.
The event will occupy nearly 60,000 square meters of space at Al Bateen Executive Airport. Over 150 aircraft, from ultra-light to heavy business jets, will be on show to be explored by aircraft enthusiasts and businesses searching for the best airplanes and aviation-related services.
As part of Abu Dhabi Air Expo, Abu Dhabi Heli Expo will run in parallel showcasing all that the helicopter industry has to offer, in addition to The Middle East Aviation Career Conference, which will also run during the same week to give a unique platform for industry partners to discuss the challenges in securing aviation professionals for the future.
