Eden Island arcade showed that Festival Kreol ambiance in Seychelles has no boundaries
ATP- Arab tourism portal- On Friday afternoon of last week as everyone was leaving work for a long weekend، Eden Island brought the Festival Kreol ambience in its shopping arcade with a cultural band playing and singing as shoppers took a break to enjoy the arcade.
Eden Island has many shops and even a shopping centre but is often seen as the quiet place surrounded by exclusive yachts and breathtaking views. Friday evening it was the sounds of Creole Music that was resonating through the arcade bringing the feel that Festival Kreol was also at Eden Island.
Alain St.Ange, the Minister responsible for Tourism and Culture and Benjamine Rose were present at Eden Island as Creole Music was playing in the shopping arcade.
They met the shop owners who had been behind this event and congratulated them for their initiative. "It is for us at the Ministry of Tourism and Culture a real joy to see our culture through our music and songs appreciated by ourselves and by our visitors.
This Eden Island initiative must be congratulated and further encouraged" said Minister St.Ange who said that he had also met Mrs Aarti Kerai of the Eden Island Plaza earlier the same afternoon as he arrived at the Shopping Arcade.
